Ekal Vidha
‘GURU ROHINI BHATE NRITYA GAAN SABHA’
Guru Rohini Bhate had promoted and always practiced the concept of ‘Masik-Sabha’ [ Monthly Ensemble ] where she provided a platform & compelled the upcoming young dance student / artist to exhibit ( with thorough preparation ) best of his/her talent through Solo Dance Performance. Such ‘Masik Sabha’ gave an opportunity for student to self-appraise& look forward to evaluation by guruji to improve self. Ekal Vidha is an attempt primarily to maintain continuity of the trend set by Guru Rohiniji. A yearly event conducted for the encouragement of upcoming young Dance Artists & an accompanying artist to promote Solo-Form of Classical Kathak Dance and Music. Aruna Kelkar is a Co-promoter of this event.

Rochit Dance Show
EXPERIENCE TO PERFORM ON STAGE
Held every 15 Months, compulsory for beginners/ Students of Rochit Kathak Akademi to participate. It is conducted with an objective for every student to get an opportunity i) to learn to present herself/ himself on stage with right taal, laya & naad, ii) to learn to coordinate with accompanying artists playing Tabla, Lehera, and reciting Padhant, iii) to learn to face audience with confidence and this way get encouraged to assimilate ‘art of traditional kathak’ right from the beginning..

2004: Making of Books ‘Kathak Darpan Dipika’ & 2008: ‘Darpani Pahataa’: Effectively administered the Work of Photo Sessions which called for the Dance Positions to be appropriate with written-text of the book; Carried out selection of relevant dance positions from Photos / Line-sketches; Compiled them Artistically for the Layout of Cover-Design and Inner-Page-Design of the book titled ‘Kathak Darpan Dipika’ (in Hindi) and ‘Darpani Pahataa’ (in Marathi) both authored by Kathak Guru Rohini Bhate.
ON GOING CONTRIBUTION
Responsible for 1) Organization of Kathak Dance performances of Nrityabharati Kathak Dance Academy 2) Teaching to promising Kathak students of different branches of Nrityabharati Kathak Dance Academy
3) Guiding Kathak Teachers in teaching and work with them on different themes and solo compositions.

Dance / Productions Based on Requested Themes
Vyom
Upon the invitation of CICD UK [a Leicester based famous institute ‘Centre for Indian Classical Dance’ founded by Smt Nileema Devi ] Dancer and Students of Kathak and Bharatnatyam from UK (37 Nos.) were trained in 8 weeks and 100 min. choreography called Vyom was staged in UK . Same was subsequently staged number of times in India by dancers of Nritybharati and Rochit Kathak Akademi & some shows along with dancers from Leicester (UK). Vyom was a particularly challenging assignment offered by CICD because the dance choreography is based on rarest of the Dance-Subject like Nava Graha नव ग्रह (Nine Planets). Vyom portrays various astronomical, astrological aspects and related mythological stories of Nava Graha.
Literary Aspects of Dance-Sculptures at Markandadev Temple
This is for the first time in the history of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Sammelan that in the 85 th year it was considered appropriate to unfold interrelationship between Literature & Temple Sculpture. Therefore in order to respond to the wish of the committee of prestigious 85th Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Sammelan 2012 at Chandrapur on 3rd February12 the project was conceived to explain through dance the Literary meaning of various Dance Sculptures duly carved in stone on Markanda-Dev Temple [also known as Khajuraho of Vidharbha, located 60 km from Chandrapur in Gadhchiroli District].
The composition was presented on the inauguration day through the projection of magnificent photo slides in the background of a well-researched commentary describing features seen in slides accompanied by melodious Classical Music and scintillating Lights while 9 young experienced dancers gracefully perform 60 minutes rhythmic dance choreography in the foreground & mesmerize the audience. Drapery has been designed on the basis of as seen on the dance sculptures.
Srushti
Ballet Srushti is a sincere attempt made in order to compel each one of us to be concerned about destruction of Pancha Tatva; Akash, Vayu, Tej, Aap, Prithvi [Five Elements of Life: Space, Air, Fire, Water & Earth] & take corrective action to protect ‘Mother Earth’.
Srushti is presented through the projection of magnificent photo slides in the background of a well-researched commentary describing features seen in slides accompanied by melodious Classical Music and scintillating Lights while 15 young experienced dancers gracefully perform 90 minutes rhythmic dance choreography in the foreground & mesmerize the audience. Srushti is staged all over India under the banner of ‘Creation Entertainment’ Pune.
My Flag My Life
2009: Hindi translation of complete English commentary in the Film on National Defence Academy: ‘My-Flag My-Life’ produced jointly by ‘Creation Entertainment, Pune’ & ‘Mhaiskar Foundation Mumbai’ in order to fulfill the objective of reaching to the hindi speaking masses.
